Tension In BBA As 5 People Have been Nominated For Eviction

Less than a week after they were ushered into the Big Brother Africa house, eviction fever has already gripped the housemates.

In fact,5 out of the 28 housemates have been nominated for possible eviction in both houses, Diamond and Ruby this Sunday. Uganda’s representative, Denzel is one of the nominees.

Denzel, who is in the Diamond House, garnered 6 nominations from his fellow housemates, who gave various reasons for nominating him, including finding him ‘weird’. Another housemate said, he tries too hard, while the South African Angelo for some reason said, Denzel disrespects women.

But it was Kenya’s Huddah who got the most, with 7 nominations. Housemates called her ‘fake’, while some didn’t like the way she was behaving like a diva. Also, nominated was Elikem from Ghana.

After Big Brother announced the nominations last night, he called the Diamond’s Head of House, Tanzania’s Feza, to the Diary Room. She had to save one and replace them with another, and she did not hesitate but saved the Ghanaian Elikem and replaced him with Betty from Ethiopia.

Incidentally, both Tanzanian housemates nominated Denzel (Uganda), and Huddah (Kenya).

In the Rubies house, Ugandan housemate Isaac did not get a single nomination. Those nominated from Rubies were Sierra Leone’s Bassey (6) and Ghana’s Selly (5). Nigeria’s representative, Beverley in her role as Ruby Head of House, chose to save Bassey and put Natasha up for eviction in his place.

BBA- the Chase reality television show kicked off last Sunday night in Johannesburg with South African super group Mafikizolo performing ‘Khona’, backed by magnificent dancers from the Mzansi Ballet Theatre. IK who returned as the presenter rolled up in style on a motorcycle and promised viewers an exciting three months of television, which would see the housemates playing the game with their eyes firmly on the USD300 000 prize.
