With fame and success comes along all the attendant luxuries. In the last decade, most of the actors that worked hard to establish the foundations of the movie industry barely got any financial rewards for their hard work.
We saw the incidence of Peter Bunor, Ngozi Nwosu, and many other veterans who had suffered ill health and found it difficult to even get money for medical treatments. That has been their plight and hopefully they will be remembered for the hard work rendered over the years.
Contrast it to current actors and the story is completely different. A fleet of cars, houses, endorsement deals, etc, are only but a few of what they enjoy. Add all that to the luxury of private jets and it surely is all good for them.
On his recent trip to Congo, John Dumelo was flown out of Ghana in a private jet and couldn’t resist but share the joy of his private jet experience;
“Sometimes we fly private to be on time”
“I know what you are thinking buddy; who is paying for it this time…LOL”
