Today as we talk about the temale body types, what to wear and what not to, i am sure you will turn heads as you walk on the street, the mall, the market place etc and leave people asking where you shop, who is your stylist is; making good comments- That dress it fits your body perfectly, you look stunning, you are charming and so on... Aha! I got you all screaming yes to all those questions right? Hehehehe! Thought as much too anyways, a word is enough for the wise ooooo not after all the advice you still wouldn't change thy ways...
In general there are 8 different body shapes,I just heard u gasp, you never knew right? Well knowledge is power! Now you know. We would talk about four for today; and make sure you find your body type here because I do not want you complaining that your neighbour laughed at you or your colleague at the office thinks your dress or jean looks like something you borrowed...We would be talking about the following.
1. STRAIGHT BODY TYPE:
In this kind of body type the bust and hips are basically the same thing you could also call this body type "babana-shaped". The waist is slightly smaller than the bust and hips,it could also be called rectangle or ruler. The key to dressing this body type is to dress to enhance your waistline, wear tops with belted waists, boat necks. Your jeans should be flared with pockets, skirts should be ball skirts or the likes that adds volumes to your lower body to create an hourglass effect.
2.PEAR BODY TYPE:
This kind of body type could also be termed "Triangular-shaped". The hips are larger than the bust and the waist gradually slopes out to the hips. The waist line is very defined. You easily gain weight at your bottom, tummy, hips before your upper body. Dressing this kind of body requires you to wear bold, bright and flattering colors as tops V-necks U-necks, tops with princess necks and embellishments. Wear A-line skirts, dark colors and simple stitchings as bottoms.
3.SPOON BODY TYPE:
The hips are larger than the bust and they have a "shelf" apperance. The waist is slightly smaller than the bust. You easily gain weight in your tummy and you are prone to love handles. To dress this body type you need to draw attention to your upper body, play with skirt lenghts, while de-emphasizing your tummy and hips to create a more balanced apperance. To create the illusion of an hourglass figure, your tops should be empire waist, boat neck, U-neck, V-neck while your bottoms should be straight legs, please stay away from flared trousers, mini skirts was made for you, show off your shapey legs, choose wide bands for your skirts to camouflage tummy bulges.
4.OVAL BODY TYPE:
The waist is larger than the bust and hips, the hips are narrow compared to the shoulders the breasts are ample in size. You have a full short neck broad shoulders, your buttocks are flat, you often gain weight at your back and upper body. The key to dressing this body type is to de-emphasize ur midsection and create a more defined waist this could be achieved by wearing clothing that adds curves and fullness to your lower body, wraps style tops are preferable for you, V-necks, U-necks, tops that flare at the hips. Go for bottoms that will flatter your lower half, pants with full or wide legs,go for full tiered or bubble skirts, cargo or safari pants with pronounced hip or rear pockets.
